A Panerai Luminor Marina Depht Gauge manufactured from the end of the second world war into the early 1960s.  These were supplied to the Italian Navy frogman (incursori), it used a Bourdon system and Luminor as a luminescent compound for the indicators (Panerai patented the name Luminor in 1949). The depth scale (low) indicates that it is a Combat ('attack') Divers depth gauge. There were other depth gauges with higher scales called 'defense' which was used for normal diving and not towards enemy bases. These were produced in a few dozen pieces only.
