These Keys will be shipped brand new (old stock) sealed in the original german army wrappers. Each Draeger Diving Set came with 2 of these keys (see photographs) which were used to couple the air-hoses, coupling the air-hose to the helmet, or coupling the hoses of the DM40 or DM20 rebreather back packs to the helmet. The keys have the Draegerwerk logo cast in them: a ‘must have’ for all Draeger helmet owners! Price 30 euro per set of 2 keys, plus shipping.

Genuine German DRAEGER Helmet Keys

Some 12 years Rob Krul and myself we started up some projects here in Holland. We built ‘Rouquayrol-Denayrouze’ regulator backpacks, followed by a small series of ‘Denayrouze Snout-Masks’. After that we built some German Regulator back-packs which are all made of Brass, and last year a small series of Denayrouze Divers lamps were made. Just like the regulators and the mask also the lamp is a fully functional museum quality replica. Also it is a very impressive piece of craftsmanship: the lamp weights almost 15 kilo and is 62 cm’s high, which is higher then a diving helmet. Price on request.

Important: it is not guaranteed that a set with holes will fit perfectly, they may need some adjustment anyway.

Old German Cuff Expanders

Original cast iron ‘sitting-weight’ for the Draeger Diving Apparatus. An interesting solution to put weights on a diver: where other manufacturers have most of the weight at the level of the divers chest, Draeger spread the weight by putting this weight as a seat between the divers legs where it was hanging on the jock-strap. This triangular shaped model appears at illustrations in the 1946 catalogue. Before and after a different, more rounded shaped Model was illustrated: the one shown here below ( Sitzgewicht 2 ) It may be that the design was temporarily changed during the second world war. Price 150 euro plus shipping

Draeger ‘Sitzgewicht’ 1

Original cast iron ‘sitting-weight’ for the Draeger Diving Apparatus. An interesting solution to put weights on a diver: where other manufacturers have most of the weight at the level of the divers chest, making him ‘top-heavy’, Draeger spread the weight by putting this weight as a seat between the divers legs where it was hanging on the jock-strap. This rounded shaped model appears at illustrations in the catalogues and manuals before the second world war. In the 1946 catalogue a different, more triangular shaped Model was illustrated: the one shown here above ( Sitzgewicht 1 ) It may be that the design was changed during the second world war. But the last batches of sitting weights which were made by Draeger to go with the last copper helmets and the DM200 / DM220 all look like this early version with the round shapes. Price 150 euro plus shipping

Only 3 or 4 copper helmet dive sets were ever built by E.P.L. de Hoog who initially lived in Alkmaar, North Holland and later moved to Dordrecht, close to Rotterdam. Either for display or for diving: a Russian made 3 Bolt UVS50 Diving Helmet with Suit, Shoes and the weights set. The helmet has a great look and patina and is complete with the original Speaker and Microphone, air Duct and Valves. The weights are in a used but fine condition, the shoes are in New Condition. The buyer has the choice between the 2 Suits shown at the photo's. Both Suits have the exhaust valves installed: the exhaust valve at the helmet cannot be adjusted, this is done with the valves installed on the Suit. Usually these suits show up without these valves. The older one is great for Display, the newer one is for Diving. Price for the Set including the old Suit: €2200,- plus shipping, price for the Set including the newer Suit: €2500,- plus shipping.

Russian 3 Bolt Diving Equipment

First pair of this kind I ever came across. Looking quite interesting even though most of the leather uppers need replacement. Manufactured during the second world war for the German Wehrmacht: a very nice condition HAGENUK helmet. Most German diving helmets which appear on the market had these military markings stamped in them after the war so they fetch higher prices from collectors of war time memorabilia, this helmet however is absolutely genuine: I bought this helmet in the 1990's in Russia and the seller had not even noticed it had these markings. Nice looking Miller Dunn Divinhood Style 3 helmet, complete with air pump and umbilical. Made in Miami Fl. for both recreational diving as for the US Military, nowadays a desired collectors item. This set was used for diving only a few years ago. Before that the air pump was fully restored and got new leather cups. At this moment (after not having been used since) the pump builds compression at 1 cylinder only. It seems that one of the leather cups has dried out a bit.

Made in Paris, France: the famous Denayrouze 3 bolt helmet by René Piel. Denayrouze was the inventor of the 3 bolt helmet system in the late 1860's, a system which has since been copied world wide and is still manufactured in Russia and China. This helmet once belonged to a diving company on the island of Corsica, bonnet, breastplate and face plate are all stamped with the company name. The helmet was then taken to the French main land where it got damaged in a house fire. Some parts were not found back and in order to restore the helmet these missing parts were made new. When polishing the entire helmet it will come out very nice, still I prefer to sell the helmet 'as is' because maybe the new owner prefers to let time give the new parts a dark patina rather then to polish the entire helmet.

Condition: see photo's. Price €3450,- plus shipping.

Russian helmets are not rare, but to find one which dates from the 1940's is very difficult. This helmet survived time in some quiet place where it got its beautiful patina. This is a first generation 12 bolt helmet of 1942, the difference with later 12 bolt helmets is that the communications- and air connections are separated (on later helmets these are combined in 1 unit). And the exhaust valve at this helmet is adjustable where the later exhaust valves are not adjustable. A very rare helmet in a beautiful untouched condition: see photo's. Price €2875,- plus shipping.

Rare Soviet Russian 12 bolt Helmet from the second World War

The company address at the gauge of the pump allows us to date it 1876-1878, the only 2 years Siebe, Gorman & Co was situated at this address. The pump has a very low serial number: #143 which is stamped in both the wooden box and the crank shaft. Considering its age the pump is in a remarkable good condition(!). This model is known as the 'Baby' pump, it is the smallest pump ever built by Siebe Gorman, also it is the lightest pump which was achieved by bolting its crank directly into the wood of the box, it has no cast iron frame inside. The wooden box however was made stronger by using thicker brass enforcement strips at the corners of the box.

Condition: see photo's. Price at request.
